February Lunch – 10 Feb 2021

Our Feb Lunch is booked for 12.30 next Wed 10 Feb in the Bistro, Ground Floor RACV Club, 501 Bourke St Melbourne.
I have received no change to our booking since the recent change to restrictions and due precautions have been taken for separation etc.
I have booked a table for 20 which I can adjust.
Smart casual, plans for the year ahead and your thoughts on the world at large are standard fare.
I would once again expect about $40 per head sticking with our main course, house wines, beer, soft drink and coffee/tea.
I apologise if I have missed anyone but had to re-create my address list. However Ian Kelly will pick up in his broadcast.
Please advise your attendance by COB on Monday 8 Feb so that I can ensure seating for all.

Peter Whitelaw (3/66)

Dear Victorian Scheyvillians, just to let you know that  Peter Whitelaw (3/66) has recently been awarded “Life Membership with Gold Badge” by RSL Victoria for his service to veterans..

He has also been appointed a member of the RSL Victoria State Branch Tribunal. This is a quasi-legal body that resolves disputes within the State Branch. Mr Jack Rush RFD QC is Chair.

We sincerely congratulate Peter on his award and appointment.

Apologies from the WebMaster for the previous (Xmas) Invitation. This is the correct one for the January New Year Lunch.

 

Hi All, and Happy New year,

Our January lunch is booked for 12.30 next Wednesday 13 Jan, in the Bistro Ground Floor 501 Bourke St Melbourne
Just as for December the RACV Club have taken due precautions for separation and so on.
I have booked a table for 20 but can easily adjust.
Smart casual, tales of Christmas and New Year derring-do, and good fellowship are the order of the day.
As usual, I would expect somewhere around $40 per head sticking to our main course, house wines, beer and coffee type meal.
Please advise by COB Monday 11 Jan so that I can confirm bookings.
Please note that the National and State Exec Meeting will be held at the table, following lunch.
