SCHEYVILLE SITE CHANNEL 9 NEWS ITEM & A QUESTION

Scheyvillians

Brett Wilde of TaskForce Veteran (HAML) has advised that he has been told that the delayed news item from last week – knocked back by the late-finishing rugby – on the Scheyville Site (supposed to be 4 mins long) will be aired on Sydney’s Ch 9 News on Sunday evening. Non-NSW viewers should be able to view the item on streaming services.

ON ANOTHER MATTER

Does anyone remember when the Aussie Rules football ground, the tennis court and the squash court were built?

For 1/65 – were they already in place for the first intake?

SCHEYVILLE SITE CHANNEL NINE ITEM POSTPONED

Scheyvillians

Unfortunately, an international Rugby game on Channel 9 ran overtime and the Scheyville Site news item was dropped.

I will let you know when it is next planned. Hopefully I will be given the time as well as the date!

SCHEYVILLE SITE CHANNEL NINE SUNDAY 3 NOV 24

Scheyvillians

Brett Wilde of TaskForce Veteran (Hunter ANZAC Memorial Ltd) has been advised that Channel 9 will be running a story on the Scheyville site tomorrow, Sunday 3 Nov 2024.

He is unsure if the item will be limited to NSW (as there are hold-ups caused by the NSW Government) or nation-wide.

The current situation at Scheyville is that the Cadets Mess is almost complete with just the Roller Door to be fitted, while the Gymnasium is finished. The display cabinets from the travelling ANZAC Centenary show (2014-2018) are being moved into the former staff kitchen end of the gymnasium where a museum is to be set up.

I look forward to some feedback from Scheyvillians on the Channel 9 News item.
