TIM FISCHER FUNERAL UPDATE

 

 

 

 

 

Tim Fischer’s funeral will be covered on National TV on ABC Channel 24 with “live crosses” from 1300hrs to 1500hrs.

Those who aren’t able to watch the funeral may wish to record it!

For afternoon tea after the Service Les Myers (4/68) of the ACT Chapter has booked the Board Room at:
The Albury Soldiers Sailors & Airmen’s Club
570 Olive St, Albury.
Attendees will be the OTU-A & Battle of Fire Support Base Coral Vets
The cost at $12 per person.

It is recommend park your car at SS&A and walk the 220m to the Entertainment Centre for the Service.

The State Funeral for the late Tim Fischer AC will be held at the Albury Entertainment Centre, Swift Street, Albury on Thursday 29 August at 1.00pm.
Being a State Funeral the service is controlled by the protocols and procedures controlled by the Protocol and International Visits Branch of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. statefuneral@pmc.gov.au

The State Funeral for the late Tim Fischer AC will be held at the Albury Entertainment Centre, Swift Street, Albury on Thursday 29 March at 1.00pm.
Being a State Funeral the service is controlled by the protocols and procedures controlled by the Protocol and International Visits Branch of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. statefuneral@pmc.gov.au

The Officer Training Unit Association has requested that the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and one member of the OTU-A National Executive represent the association. Good friend, and graduating classmate of Tim Fischer, Peter Whitelaw, and his wife Shay will also be in attendance.

Doors to the centre will open at 11.30am and all are requested to be seated by 12.15pm.
Any other Scheyvillians wishing to attend will be directed to the public seating area.

It is requested that all Scheyvillians attending the funeral contact Brian Cooper on 0418 373 874 prior to the service so that a gathering of all from the OTU-A in attendance can be arranged.
