The Scheyvillian Edition 2 of 2016

Scheyvillians,

The latest edition of The Scheyvillian is now available.

The Editor thanks all contributors to The Scheyvillian 2 of 2016 and apologises for not being able to use all the photographs provided in this issue!

This edition of The Scheyvillian is published in two formats.

The normal .pdf version is available from the OTU website home page,

www.otu.asn.au

scroll to the bottom of the page and click on:

NEWS

You do not need to log in as a member to access the magazine this way.

This issue is also available from the Scheyvillian archive.

To reach this you need to log in using your Surname and Regimental Number. The Archive is found under “the Association” tab of the top menu bar.

You can also access a copy in .pdf format via this link:

CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS    (Also click on “2016_edition 2” when there)

This edition is also published in magazine format via the ISSUU website.

Access is via this link:           http://issuu.com/otuassociation/docs/2016_2_the_scheyvillian_final

Unfortunately, since the last edition  of  The Scheyvillian, Google has altered  the Chrome browser to make the above link unworkable (could not load plugin error).

Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge and Safari are not effected, so by copy and pasting the above link into the address bar of one of these browsers, the edition will open in magazine format.

It can also be opened using the “Latest Edition” box on the side menu after log-in.

Initially the magazine appears as a thumbnail, which enlarges when downloaded.  Controls are available:

to enlarge or reduce the image size,

to display the pages across the bottom of the screen enabling easy selection of a particular page;

to toggle between full page and a reduced page size;

to display as single or double page spreads;

Use the top arrows to flip pages left or right, and the bottom arrows to go the first or last pages;

In full page mode, an icon is available to download the magazine to save on your computer or to print.

The downside of this free display, is that other magazines published in this way are featured, either at the bottom of the page, or as a side bar in full page mode.

If you do not like the intrusion of these other publications, the .pdf version, available in the normal way are ad free.

If you have any trouble accessing this issue, contact me for advice at webmaster@otu.asn.au
