FUNERAL OF DAVID RANFORD (4/70) 28 FEB 2025

OTU Class 4/70 Members – I am sorry if this comes out in a bit of a jumble. Couldn’t get it to do proper alignment!

Trevor Ranford (2/72) has announced that the funeral of his brother David Ranford will be held on Friday, 28 February 2025, at 10am at the Harrison Rivergum Chapel, cnr Golden Grove Road and High Jack Lane, Ridgehaven, SA. At David’s request, please wear colour! Also wear your OTU badge and/or tie to identify you as a Scheyvillian. I look forward to a good write-up, with photos, for the April Scheyvillian.

Following the request for awards for 4/70 (apart from Malter and Snashall), Kevin Maloney advised that he been awarded the Drill Prize, while Mark Conrau advised that he was awarded the Most Determined to Graduate (not on the 4/70 Grad Pde Brochure List).

Trevor found that his sister, then 13, attended the graduation parade and wrote a report on the event. This report stated that David was awarded The Gordon Sharp Memorial Award!

We still need the Leadership, Skill at Arms and Sports awards!
