OTU Class 1/70 Mates

It is terribly saddening that Sue has advised that our dear classmate, George, is in Caritas Christi Hospital in Kew, Victoria. George is in palliative care for his brain tumour.

Only close family can visit George.

I have told Sue that we are all thinking of George and everyone in the Giummarra family.

End-of-year Function (Duntroon Society Victoria)

Dear Members,
A Warning Order for a Duntroon Society Victoria end-of-year get-together.
Please put an entry in your diary for a Duntroon Society Victoria end-of-year function for members, wives / partners /guests:
COVID restrictions permitting, the function will be:
  • Date:  Wednesday 24 November;
  • Time:  1500hrs (3:00pm);
  • Venue:  RACV City Club, Bourke Street, downstairs Carbine Bar;
  • Format:  informal get-together; finger food provided; members buy own drinks;
  • COVID:  all attendees will need to be double vaccinated; and
  • RSVP:  will be called for 17 November.
A confirmation of the function will be sent once we have confirmation of any remaining restrictions, if any.
We look forward to enjoying good company and good cheer, celebrating the end of another hard year, and looking forward to Christmas and a brighter and prosperous New Year.
